City Council has approved the installation of a temporary stop sign on Sixth Ave. at Birch St. N. to assist with speed reduction and traffic flow. 

The City's Traffic Dept. will install the temporary sign on Friday, June 7, 2024 between 6:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. Once the sign is installed, motorists traveling on Sixth Ave. will be required to come to a complete stop before proceeding. The intersection will act as a 4-way stop. The first vehicle to enter has the right-of-way at a four-way stop. If two or more cars stop at the same time, right-of-way goes to the vehicle on the right.
