Evelyn Township Landfill – Temporary Closure

Please be advised that the Environmental Services Department is informing residents that the Evelyn Township Landfill will remain closed due to excessive snow accumulation, which has made access to the site unsafe and impractical.

The site was reassessed on Monday, May 4, 2026, and will remain closed until May 11, 2026, at which time it will be reassessed again. We understand this may cause inconvenience and updates will be provided as soon as access is possible, and it is safe to reopen.

Environmental Service Department would like to thank residents for their patience and understanding while we continue to monitor the conditions.
