The City of Timmins "Free Community Swim" program works to remove the financial barriers around recreation. By making swimming more accessible and affordable, we can help contribute to the healthy development of children and youth, and provide an opportunity for socialization and physical activity for seniors and families in Timmins.
The benefits of sponsoring a "free" community swim:
- Help provide a no-cost recreation option to families and individuals.
- Help increase access to recreation programs for low-income families and individuals.
- Connect your business or organization with an activity that benefits the community.
- Sponsorship revenues make it possible for the City to expand programs, services, and initiatives, while reducing the need for tax increases or additional user fees.
Sponsor a "free" community swim for $371.50.
Sponsorship includes:
- Sponsor one (1) free community swim - swims are 1.25 hours and open to all ages.
- Logo on event poster displayed at the Archie Dillon Sportsplex Pool.
- Logo on social media promotion - minimum one (1) post with logo
- Set-up a table or booth at the Archie Dillon Sportsplex Pool during your sponsored swim
