The Timmins Fire Department provides fire service throughout the City of Timmins. The Fire Department may also respond to calls outside of city limits, according to
need. The Timmins Fire Department is also equipped to
handle emergency calls at the Victor M. Power Airport.

Station 1 (Mountjoy)
Built in 1983, the Mountjoy station station operates at the volunteer level in Ward 1. Station 1 has a compliment of up to 25 Volunteer Firefighters.
Station 2 (South Porcupine)
Built in 1957, the South Porcupine station operates at the volunteer level and services in Ward 2. Station 2 has a compliment of up to 25 Volunteer Firefighters.
Station 3 (Schumacher)

Built in 1958, the Schumacher station operates at the volunteer level in Ward 3. Station 3 has a compliment of up to 25 Volunteer Firefighters.
Station 4 (Whitney)
Built in 2018 (original hall built in 1947), the Whitney station operates at the volunteer level in Ward 4. Station 4 has a compliment of up to 25 Volunteer Firefighters.
Station 5 (Timmins)
Built in 1957, the Timmins station operates at both the career and volunteer level with a compliment of 28 career firefighters and up to 20 Volunteer Firefighters. In addition to the suppression firefighters, there is also an administration branch of the department including: Fire Chief, Deputy Fire Chief, Office Manager, Fire Prevention Officers, and Training Officers. These people are based out of the Timmins Fire Department, located at 133 Cedar Street South.
Station 6 (Connaught)

Built in 1998, the Connaught station operates at the volunteer level in Ward 4C. Station 6 has a compliment of up to 20 Volunteer Firefighters.
