Our social media sites also serve as source of information and another way that residents can engage with the City.
Media Relations
We will respond to media requests during regular business hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. All requests will be responded to within a maximum of 24-hours according to the time of receipt.
Media requests from accredited media outlets are given priority.
After Hours
We will respond to media requests after hours that are of an urgent, operational nature. Media requests received outside of business hours will be answered the next business day.
City Access
All media outlets are asked to notify the City of Timmins Communications Department before entering City property or interviewing City employees.
Mayor’s Office
Media requests for the Mayor will be coordinated in conjunction with the Mayor’s Executive Assistant, but should be directed to Corporate Communications.
